LENA POPE HOME

The mission of Lena Pope is to help create hope, happiness and success for children and their families through counseling and education. The goal of Lena Pope Counseling is to offer children, individuals, and families hope for a productive life. Chapel Hill Academy, Lena Pope’s elementary charter school, offers a tuition-free, quality education for elementary aged students by creating a solid foundation and support system for each student, so that they may have greater chances of future success. Lena Pope also fosters education in the community through the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program.

This program provides an alternative education setting for students who have struggled to succeed on their home campuses. In this program, the students are taught valuable skills to ensure a promising future. The Lena Pope Early Learning Center provides all-day care and learning for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Smart starts early with our evidenced based curriculum designed to meet national accreditation standards, including degreed teachers and low student-teacher ratios. Lena Pope believes that all children deserve the opportunity for high quality early education regardless of family income. Lena Pope impacts thousands of children and their families each year and has been serving children and families since 1930.
